Green Share Chofu + Garden newly opened in February 2023

It’s May, and thankfully there are only a few rooms left in the house!

After GW, the weather is getting hotter and hotter, and it feels like summer is just around the corner.

So this time we held a BBQ party in the large courtyard of the house!

First, we went to the nearby OK Store to buy ingredients!

It is a supermarket that can be reached by bicycle from the House, where you can buy reasonably priced groceries and other items.

On Sundays, the store is very busy and you can see that it has become a food inventory for the local residents!

Once you have all the ingredients, you can start a fire!

And if anyone is in charge of making the fire at Interwhao, it is this person!

Once again, Mr. Mori is doing a great job of grilling the meat!

The quality of OK Store is such that you can buy a large steak like this for just a little over 1,000 yen!

Everyone started the BBQ in the courtyard, which is the pride of Green Share Chofu!

Most of the members of Green Share Chofu are foreign nationals!

Some go to Japanese language school, some work in Japan, and some are here on working holidays.

Although they are of various nationalities, they all have the same interest in Japan and wish to live here!

We had a great time talking about topics that are only possible with a large number of non-Japanese members!

After eating a lot of meat, we had a chance to get some after-meal exercise.

We got a taste of Japanese culture by playing Kendama!

Even if you drop the ball and it hits the floor, it’s okay because it’s on artificial turf!

At first they said it was difficult, but once they got the hang of it, they got better and better…

Japanese people can’t lose either!

Green Share Chofu is a medium-sized property with a maximum of 27 rooms and a courtyard that is large enough for more than a dozen people.

This share house was completely renovated and reborn in February 2023.

The common area inside the house is also spacious, and the private rooms are a spacious 7.8 tatami mats.

This is a super international exchange type share house located just a short ride to Shinjuku on the Keio Line!

People of various ages, nationalities, jobs, studies….

People of all ages, nationalities, jobs, studies, and backgrounds living together in the same house is what a share house is all about!
