BBQ Party @ Ma Maison Kamishyakuji (Women Only sharehouse) - share house in Japan, Tokyo. [interwhao]

★Ma Maison Kamisyakuji

This women only sharehouse has been renovated last summer.

We planned the BBQ party as the renovation has been completed because the summer was coming.

If you walk from Kamisyakuji station in Seibu Shinjuku Line for about 7 min, you will find Ma Maison Kamisyakuji. There are 24 hours supermarket, convenience stores, and restaurants on the way.

Kamisyakuji is the residential area, so it is a quiet place.

It takes about  20 min to Shinjuku station, so this area is also popular for those who work or go to school in and near Shinjuku.

Most of residents are Japanese because the house appearance makes us feel old Japan. At the same time, foreigners would like this house because its structure is like real Japanese house.

This weather was fine fortunately.

Let’s start to light the coal!! Seafood, meat, fried noodle…these are the main BBQ ingredients. Residents helped us prepare and make foods.

They are very reliable!!

The time was still early so not all participants were not here yet.

This time, we invited the residents from another sharehouse “Ma Maison Ikebukuro”. This is also women only sharehouse.

So all of them live in our women only sharehouse and they talk about common stories of the house and of women. Looks like they exchanged the information and the story between them.

Usually, they don’t eat together because the house is a little small with less space living room than other huge house. Also, their jobs are different so the time of coming back home is different as well.

So this was a good opportunity to share this great time!
