DIY (Do it yourself) renovation @ Firsthouse Tobu Nerima! - share house in Japan, Tokyo. [interwhao]

Hello, I am Kato, in charge of the Firsthouse in Tobu Nerima.

Please let me report when our staff members made a full renovation for the house by ourselves!!

Purchasing tools and materials, ready for the renovation!! This is what is called, “Do it yourself” spirit!!

First, to stick a wallpaper!!

Measuring the area, cutting the wallpaper, and sticking it onto the wall… After these processes, the time for a roller!!

Gradually getting accustomed to this handwork, the speed doubled!!

Like this, our staff members try even to stick a wallpaper!!

Next, a change of the flooring.

Measuring the area, cutting the material, and sticking it onto the floor… After these processes, again, a roller!!

The same process as sticking the wallpaper!!

The slight differences are glues and tools that we used, and honestly speaking, we needed a lot of energy for the flooring because the material for it was heavy.

Especially, the corridor has a lot of curves. This is the part where we took a lot of pain.

But, we will get accustomed to this work and will complete it shortly!!

We wanted some accent on the corridor, so we put some pretty stickers on the floor.

This is much easier than changing the wallpaper and flooring.

We are still on the way to the renovation, but I will try to update it＾＾

Anyway, I  am happy that both the individual rooms and the shared space became clean!!
