Hi, I’m Kato, the person in charge of First House Minamiurawa!
This time, I’d like to share with you a report on a walk around First House Minami Urawa, which is a 5 minute walk from Minami Urawa Station along the JR Keihin Tohoku Line and JR Musashino Line!
There’s a park nearby that’s rumored to have a beautiful view of the fountains, so I went there right away .
I’m going to introduce you to Bessho-numa Park, which is a nearby facility about a 20 minute bike ride from First House Minami Urawa.
~Bessho-numa Park~
Bessho-numa Park is one of the few parks in Saitama City that is widely maintained.
The park has a good balance of water and greenery, and the swamp in the park is filled with ducks and carp.
The walking course around the swamp is perfect for walking and jogging!
It wasn’t too hot that day, and the breeze was nice, making it a perfect day for cycling!
When we arrived at the park, we were immediately greeted by a sign!
We proceeded to the park first!
I’m also curious about the meeting hall, so I’ll stop by there later! LOL!
The park is large, with a large pond and fountain, and a great view!
Surrounding the pond were walking trails, playing fields, and a playground for the kids!
The park is lined with old, long-growing trees that give a sense of natural healing!
The park was crowded with walkers, cyclists, fishermen, and parents and children, offering a variety of fun activities.
Next, I’d like to go to the hall!
As I walked through the park on my way there, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful flowers blooming everywhere!
The Kaikan seemed to be the closest business hotel to the Saitama Prefectural Government!
It’s amazing that there’s a business hotel on the park grounds!
The hotel is also open for lunch, and even if you’re not staying at the hotel, you don’t need to make a reservation, so it would be nice to take a break at the hotel during lunch time!
We also found a nice cafe in the park!
They have a lot of menu items, but what’s noteworthy is that they have a water station! It’s a great way to get some water during the summer days!
If you go to the park in the summer, please visit this cafe!

I’m sure there are people who don’t get to experience nature very often and don’t get much exercise, so I highly recommend Bessho-numa Park for those people!
